_ CONSULTATIONS

It's best to schedule your consultation after your event date has been set and most of the major decisions have been made. I usually suggest getting in touch 4-6 months prior to your wedding or event.

If you have an invitation, fabric swatches, or ideas you would like to incorporate in your cake design, please bring them along. If you're not sure what you would like, don't worry - just bring yourself. We'll talk, look at photos, and then eat cake!

For your consultation, I invite you to choose 2 cake flavors and 3-4 fillings to sample.

At your tasting, you can expect cake samples that are baked fresh for you,  using only premium ingredients. There is a $20 deposit, with payment due when you schedule your appointment. If you decide to book your wedding or event with AK Cake Design, the deposit will be deducted from your final bill.

Please be sure to schedule your tasting at least 48 hours in advance.



THE NEXT STEPS. . .

There is a minimum order of $350 and a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your date. Once we've met and you're ready to start the design process, I'll send you preliminary sketches. From there, we'll tweak the design until we come up with the perfect cake for your special day.
